Beton non pasir adalah salah satu dari bermacam-macam beton khusus. Beton non pasir merupakan bentuk sederhana dari jenis beton ringan, yang dalam pembuatannya tidak menggunakan aggregat halus (pasir). Tidak adanya agregat halus dalam campuran menghasilkan beton yang berpori sehingga beratnya berkurang ( Ir. Kardiyono Tjokrodimulyo, 2009). Sifatnya yang porous dan berongga, membuat beton ini mudah meloloskan air. Baca Beton Non Pasir. Melihat hal tersebut, maka saya mencoba menggunakan beton non pasir sebagai pengganti pipa.

Pada kegiatan renovasi di daerah saya, terdapat sebuah pemandian yang mangkrak, dibelakang kolam pemandian tersebut terdapat bangunan penangkap air. Rencananya air pada bangunan penangkap air tersebut akan dialirkan ke kolam pemandian. Kemudian kolam pemandian tersebut dialihfungsikan menjadi bak penampungan air, sehingga air tersebut dapat dipergunakan untuk masyarakat.

Sifat beton non pasir yang porous, maka saya melapisi sisi-sisinya dengan mortar supaya kedap air.

Di Indonesia, beton non pasir belum populer, oleh Ir.Kardiyono Tjokrodimulyo seorang maestro beton dari Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, berusaha memperkenalkan beton khusus tersebut. Bersama-sama mahasiswa Teknik Sipil dan Lingkungan Universitas Gadjah Mada pernah membangun rumah dan buis beton dengan beton non pasir. Buis beton dari beton non pasir ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat sebagai sumur resapan.
Aplikasi beton non pasir sebagai pipa sudah terbangun dan Alhamdulillah, air dapat mengalir lancar masuk ke dalam bak penampungan. Menjadi kepuasan tersendiri dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu beton khusus ke dalam dunia konstruksi. Semoga pengalaman saya dapat menginspirasi teman-teman sehingga ilmu yang kita miliki dapat bermanfaat.

No Fines concrete is one of a variety of special concrete. No Fines concrete is the simplest form of this type of lightweight concrete, which is in the making not using fine aggregate (sand). The absence of fine aggregate in the concrete mixture produces porous so that the weight is reduced (Ir. Kardiyono Tjokrodimulyo, 2009). Nature is porous and hollow, making it easier to pass water concrete. Read No Fines Concrete. Seeing this, I tried using no fines concrete as a replacement pipe.
In the renovation activities in my area, there is a bathhouse that stalled, behind the swimming baths are building water catchments. The plan on building water catchments will be channeled to the swimming baths. Then the bathing pool converted into a water tank, so the water can be used for local residents.
The nature behaviour of no fines concrete is porous, then I coat the sides with mortar so watertight.

In Indonesia, no fines concrete has not been popular, by Ir.Kardiyono Tjokrodimulyo a concrete maestro of Gadjah Mada University, attempted to introduce the special concrete. Together students of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Gadjah Mada build houses with no fines concrete. No fines concrete is expected to be useful as well catchment.
No fines concrete applications as the pipe already built and Alhamdulillah, water can flow smoothly into thetank. Being satisfaction can apply specific knowledge into the world of concrete construction. Hopefullymy experience can inspire our friends so that we have the science to be useful.
